The success you support can be measured in EVkid and EVcorps volunteer retention, the engagement of families and teachers, and high school graduation and college matriculation rates. But each statistic also has a name and a face, with an EV-nurtured conviction and goals for the future.

Antonio, an eighth grader, and his EVtutor Vince, a Boston College junior, attended the Boston Public Schools high school showcase together on a November evening. Initially, Antonio was nervous about going into the large, crowded room filled with administrators and other school officials, but he and Vince walked from table to table, collecting brochures and asking questions. Later, an enthused Antonio left feeling they had found schools that would be a great fitfor him. Applications completed, Antonio is now waiting to hear from his top choices and to share the good news with Vince.
